LIFESTYLE MODIFICATIONS:

- Avoid screens and eating food at least 3 hours before sleep: these disrupt our hormonal sleep cycle

- Have a bath before bed: Relaxing but also the change in body temperature mimics that change our bodies experience as we sleep, therefore promoting healthy sleep


- Do something with your hands: This has been shown to stimulate sleep. For example: crochet, drawing, sewing, cleaning or other crafts


- Yin yoga: The perfect combination of mindfulness and calming stretching
