During this time it is important to promote rest and nourishment to allow the body to heal. We recommend the following three tips to help you stick to the detox while also convalescing:

- Avoid dairy and gluten for a few days until after it has settled (these are both inflammatory and can disrupt the gut lining and microbiome)

- Stick to cooked veggies (like roast or air fryer zucchini, pumpkin, broccoli etc) and avoid raw (the body uses much more energy to digest raw foods). 

- Try some soups with lots of herbs as they will be easy to digest and very nourishing

- Drink lots of tea, particularly our Tea 3 as it contains herbal ingredients that soothe and heal the lining of the gut.
